In Clearwater, Tampa or St. Pete the decision to file bankruptcy is never an easy one. However, there are many
circumstances such as illness, job loss, and divorce that can severely damage your ability to pay your bills.
Attorneys and Debt Counselors is here to advise you about ways to free yourself from the overwhelming stress of
debt, collection calls, and foreclosure.
Located in central Tampa, Attorneys and Debt Counselors offers a free initial consultation with a bankruptcy attorney
for clients throughout the Tampa Bay area, including residents of Clearwater, Florida.
Individuals and businesses in Clearwater have many legal alternatives during times of financial distress. A
Clearwater bankruptcy lawyer will show you how federal and Florida law can protect your assets. Through options
such as Chapter 13, Chapter 7, or Chapter 11 bankruptcy, filers are often able to stop home foreclosure, stop
collection agency harassment, and stop vehicle repossession.
Whether you are trying to save your automobile in Largo or your home in Clearwater Beach, a bankruptcy lawyer will
explain legal terms such as “automatic stay” and “exempt property,” which are designed to help you keep certain
assets, including your residence and your vehicle.
